The Pentart portfolio includes classic acrylic paints in matte, silky shine or glossy finishes and a variety of other paints and mediums for different surfaces, such as chalk paints, alcohol inks, fabric paints and dyes, liquid metals, mirror mist, glass paints, contour liners waxes and velvet powder.

The range also covers adhesives, glues and varnishes (including decoupage glues, tacky adhesives and wax finishes), casting systems such as resins and modeling powders, and a complete set of primers and sealers.

Pentart offers a wide variety of gels and pastes to achieve crackle, rust, patina, moss, stone and other special or distressed effects. For three‑dimensional work, the line includes modelling, fibre and structure pastes. There are also special effect pastes and gels that create metallic, glitter, iridescent and chameleon‑like finishes. In addition, metallic pigments, galaxy flakes and coloured foil flakes provide sparkling and gilding effects. Altogether, the Pentart collection encourages hobbyists and professionals alike to explore mixed‑media art, DIY décor, scrapbooking and furniture upcycling.

Production is managed under strict quality and environmental control (ISO 9001/14001) and the company emphasises social responsibility by supporting art programs for disadvantaged and sick children as well as art museum programs. Whether you are decoupaging a tray, creating a steampunk canvas or restoring a piece of furniture, Pentart products provide the colours, textures and finishes needed to realise your vision.

Artemisia - fine‑art paints and mediums

A brand inspired by a trail‑blazing artist. Artemisia is Pentacolor’s professional fine‑art line named after the seventeenth‑century painter Artemisia Gentileschi. Artemisia represents “courage, grace, and authenticity of true creative vision” and invites artists to create with intention and emotion Pentacolor believes that art is a “language of truth, power, and beauty” and celebrates artists who lead with vision. Every product in the Artemisia range is designed to meet the high standards demanded by professional and aspiring artists, using carefully selected pigments for rich chromatic intensity, exceptional lightfastness and purity. The binders and fillers are formulated for consistency, adhesion and archival durability, and the range includes premium mediums for controlling flow, texture and drying time.

Acrylic paints: Artemisia acrylic paints are highly pigmented, delivering vivid, professional‑quality colours. The creamy consistency spreads smoothly and covers well, yet the paints dry quickly, making them ideal for both layering and fine detail workmedia. Colours blend well to create unique palettes, and the paints can be diluted with water or acrylic thinner for glazing or mixed with Artemisia Acrylic Impasto to build texture. Once fully dry the film is flexible and waterproof, retaining its vibrancy for years. The acrylic line is available in 51 colours and comes in 20 ml, 40 ml and selected 120 ml tubes.

Oil paints: Artemisia oil paints are professional‑grade, oil‑based colours with a rich, creamy consistency that captures brush strokes and palette‑knife textures. High pigment loading ensures vivid, intense hues even in thin layers, and the colours blend beautifully. They are compatible with traditional media such as linseed oil and turpentine, offer excellent to very good lightfastness (ASTM I–II) and avoid heavy‑metal pigments for greater environmental consciousness. Drying is relatively slow (surface dry within days; fully cured in 6–12 months), allowing extended manipulation; calcium siccative or Artemisia Fast‑Drying Medium can speed up the process. The oil paints are available in 47 colours and come in 20 ml and 40 ml tubes

Beyond paints, the Artemisia line includes gessoes, heavy‑body gels, texture pastes and other painting mediums that support surface preparation and creative experimentation. Using Artemisia products, artists can explore traditional or contemporary techniques with confidence, knowing that every material has been engineered for performance and longevity.

Private labelling – partnering to build your brand

Pentacolor has more than 30 years’ experience in developing and producing private‑label products for partners all around the world. If you want to launch or strengthen your own brand, we offers end‑to‑end support - from concept to finished product. In private labelling (also called OEM), Pentacolor manufactures goods according to your specifications; the product appears under your brand while the development and production are handled by Pentacolor.

Why choose a private label? Having a privately labelled product allows you to offer customers a bespoke item that matches your design, formulation and packaging. The product is developed to your requirements, carries your own product codes and packaging, and enables you to grow your business while Pentacolor manages the chemistry and manufacturing.

How it works. Pentacolor is a manufacturer of creative chemicals with its own factory and laboratory in Hungary. Interested partners are encouraged to contact us to discuss ideas, required quantities and any special requirements; our team will help refine the specification and provide advice on formulation, packaging and pricing. After understanding your needs, Pentacolor can develop completely new products or adapt items from its Pentart portfolio.

Through our private‑label programme Pentacolor shares its R&D expertise, manufacturing capacity and commitment to quality, helping retailers and brands bring distinctive, high‑quality creative products to market without having to build their own chemical production facilities.
