Digital Academy on 6 November 2024: ethical sourcing, fair supply chains and sustainable marketing

Worldwide unique, handmade products are created by the MADE51 initiative of the UNHCR UN Refugee Agency in cooperation with partner companies and refugee artisans worldwide. On 6 November 2024, from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. CET, the Digital Academy of the Frankfurt consumer goods fairs will present the master minds behind MADE51. Sustainability now: Apply for the Special Interest Ethical Style by 22 November 2024

From all over the world for the Rhine-Main region: Creativeworld exhibitors donate art supplies for children

95 exhibitors at this year's Creativeworld have donated high-quality trade fair samples from their craft and creative product ranges to the Frankfurt Children's Office. Hence, they are provinding around 4,000 children in more than 60 children's and young people's centres in the Rhine-Main region with products like brushes and paints, modelling clay and pens as well as special trend products and materials for the latest creative techniques for free.

The mega trade fair for the consumer goods industry expands its global leadership position

"Celebrating Business Together" was the motto of this year's mega trade fair for the global consumer goods industry, consisting of Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld. A festival of records: with an increase of ten percent, 4,928 exhibitors presented their new products on over 360,000 gross square metres. Despite a rail strike lasting several days, around 140,000 visitors from all branches of trade and sales channels were inspired by a wealth of trends and innovations at the biggest event in the history of Messe Frankfurt. As the most international networking and ordering platform, the industry's one-stop shop with over 170 participating countries and regions provided orientation, inspiration and solutions to current challenges in the market.

Creativeworld exhibitors support little artists from the Rhine-Main region

This year, 87 exhibitors at Creativeworld donated high-quality painting utensils and handicraft accessories to the Frankfurt Children's Office. The donations in kind include everything a young artist's heart desires, from canvases and stationery to brushes, paints and pens, modelling clay, stamps and stickers. Today, Eva Olbrich, Show Director of Creativeworld, and her team handed over the donations. This year, around 4,500 children in more than 50 children's institutions and youth centres in the Rhine-Main region will benefit from the goods.

Creativity knows no boundaries – this was proven by the consumer goods fair Creativeworld, which presented the latest trends and DIY inspirations at the global industry meeting place at the Frankfurt exhibition centre from 4 to 7 February. There, the world's most important trade fair for the international hobby, craft and artists' supplies sector was held simultaneously with the consumer goods fairs Ambiente and Christmasworld for the first time. On 17,649 gross square metres, it invited 8,840 trade visitors in an exuberant atmosphere to order, to network and to get creative.

Sustainability meets design: Best practice examples, "cooking show" and material studies inspired at the online event

As part of the online event series for the international consumer goods fairs Ambiente, Christmasworld and Creativeworld, Messe Frankfurt hosted three renowned expert speakers digitally. They presented the various aspects of sustainability in their varied lectures. At the online event Sustainability meets Design, the focus was of course also on the relationship to design, underpinned by current examples. The topic was enthusiastic: over 1,400 interested people from more than 80 countries registered and were able to take away valuable ideas.

Under the motto "Home of Consumer Goods", Messe Frankfurt will offer the world's most innovative and comprehensive range of consumer goods from 2023 onwards

Messe Frankfurt is actively fulfilling its mission to promote the economy by creating new platforms for the global consumer goods industry. As a first step, starting in February 2023, the three leading consumer goods trade fairs Ambiente, Christmasworld, and Creativeworld will be held simultaneously for the first time at the Frankfurt exhibition center from 3/4 to 7 February 2023. Under the new motto "Home of Consumer Goods," the redesigned offering will provide a unique, comprehensive portfolio of products and solutions and actively leverage synergy effects for exhibitors, visitors and the media. In a second step, the Global Sourcing section of the three leading trade fairs will be merged into a joint offering and marketed internationally. This strategic development step will be supplemented by a new, regionally based Design & Lifestyle offering in Frankfurt in the second half of the year.
