The Lascaux Primers are of archival quality and suitable for almost every type of substrate. Thanks to their homogenous consistency they form even surfaces and are very economical: 50-100 ml/sqm. All our primers are pure acrylic resin dispersions; they remain elastic after drying and are non-yellowing and age-resistant.

Lascaux Artist is a pastose artists' acrylic colour of the highest quality. It comprises 54 carefully balanced hues, rangeing from opaque to transparent depending on the pigment.

Lascaux Artist is particularly luminous, and intense and offering high colour depth. and economical, Lascaux Artist shows a smooth and thick consistency very similar to classic oil paints. The carefully balanced assortment allows the mixing of virtually every imaginable shade. All 54 hues provide excellent lightfastness and dry to form an even, semi-matt finish, with minimal shrinkage. The dry film remains flexible and does not crack even when layers are thick. Lascaux Artist is weather-resistant and thus suited for outdoor application.

Lascaux Transparent Varnishes are recommended as the ideal finishing treatment for artwork. These products offer reliable protection and are available in different gloss levels. All products are lightfast, non-yellowing, age-resistant and can be painted over. A final varnish can harmonise the gloss levels in a painting.

Lascaux Gouache is a highly concentrated acrylic-modified tempera paint. Thanks to its purity and brilliance it is suitable for professional use in art, design and education.

Lascaux Gouache is thoroughly opaque, of maximum lightfastness and luminance, and yields great colour depth. With their thick and smooth consistency, these colours need to be diluted with water before use. Even highly diluted Lascaux Gouache colours will retain their brilliance and intensity.

All hues dry to form a water-soluble film. A previous layer can be painted over without being dissolved by the fresh application. Lascaux Gouache shows excellent adhesion on almost any absorbent surface and dries to yield a satin matt finish. The colour palette remains constant and comprises 34 well-balanced hues, including silver and gold, and three primary colours.
