Oil Artist Extrafine MIR is an Extrafine quality oil made up of specific pig­ments for Fine Arts with high light stabili­ty and luminosity. The drying vegetable oils that make up MIR Oil Colours are chosen so that they do not modify the tone of the pig­ment, drying evenly in a colourless layer with maximum transparency and homogeneity.

A fundamental part of the manufacture of MIR Oil Colours is the refining of the initial paste of pigment and oil. This mass is passed through mills composed of three steel rollers as many times as necessary to achieve per­fect dispersion of the pigment particles in the oil medium. 

In this way, the oil paint will obtain its characteristics of fineness, creaminess, shine and tinting power, and its stability over time will be favored both inside the tube and once applied.

The JAURENA SA | MIR Oil Colour Range contains the traditional and authentic colors of Cadmium and Cobalt and incorporates modern organic pigments that imitate the tones of those at a lower price. In these ca­ses, we call the colour Hue to distinguish it from the authentic one. For example: MIR Lemon Cadmium Yellow (authentic) and MIR Lemon Cadmium Yellow Hue (organic).

• Intense Shine; They are known for their intense shine. They emit a vibrant, eye-catching light, especially under ultraviolet (UV) light/dark light.
• Available Colors; wide variety of tones: blue, green, red, yellow, orange, magenta, purple and violet. They are transparent colors that, under the action of UV rays, increase their luminescence ten times more.
• Formulation; The base of these colors consists of pigments that accumulate and reflect light, bound by a transparent layer of a pure acrylic emulsion, which improves their light fastness and helps these pigments adhere to all types of clean surfaces.

The colors are packed in a practical squeezable 500ml bottle with a screw-on dispenser that allows excellent conservation of the acrylic. Ideal container for Paint&Sip events, colors can be served in larger capacity containers. We can serve this product in 1 Liter too.

JAURENA SA formulated these colours with high quality pigments and pure acrylic emulsions. Their creamy cha­racteristic makes them suitable for all painting techniques.

With proven stability and high adhesion, they can be used on any type of clean surface: Fabric, paper, cardboard, plaster, wood, pre­viously treated metal and polystyrene, among others. They can be applied with a brush, ro­ller, painting knife, or airbrush diluted proportionally with distilled water and drying retarder.

Its practical dosing container offers great con­venience for application. Unalterable once dry, they offer a satin finish. Brushes and utensils should be washed under running water before the paint dries.
