With a history spanning over 60 years, Artec Co., Ltd. is today Japan’s No. 1 educational materials manufacturer, with a substantial expertise in arts and crafts products.

DioBase Modeling Clay

DioBase Clay is safe lightweight tailor-made in Japan for making dioramas.

Six features of DioBase Clay:

① Safe clay containing antiviral ingredients.
② Lightweight air-dry clay with a unique texture that is hand-friendly for optimal usability.
③ Characterized by the uneven texture that remains intact even after kneading and pressing.
④ Allows to easily create footprints and tire marks by firmly pressing the clay with a figure, etc.
⑤ The clay bonds well to other clay, making detailed artwork super easy.
⑥ The clay naturally dries in about 1 week.
