Creativeworld and publishers bit-Verlag are awarding the 13th Creative Impulse Award: you can enter your new products for the award from now until 24 November

In 2017 we won first prize in the 'Product of the Year' category with our wood veneer fabric. The Creative Impulse Award is immensely important for the sector. It is the only proper award and so it’s highly relevant. It shows where the creative journey is leading and, in addition, it honours companies’ innovative ideas and products.

Creativeworld, in collaboration with publishers bit-Verlag, is looking for the most innovative products and tools for hobbies, arts & crafts and artists’ requirements. The Creative Impulse Award, a major, established feature of the leading international trade fair, is the most important award for the DIY sector worldwide. Manufacturers from the creative sector, who are exhibiting at the leading international trade fairs Creativeworld and Paperworld in Frankfurt am Main, from 27 to 30 January 2018, can enter for the award up until 24 November. "In my view, the Creative Impulse Award is the best illustration of the immense innovative energy in this sector", says Michael Reichhold, Director of Creativeworld at Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. "The incredible range of new products and tools that are submitted every year poses a challenging task for the expert panel when they meet at the beginning of January."

The panel, which is made up of international sector experts from retail, industry and the media, tests all the products that have been submitted in Frankfurt am Main. Panel members will be painting, cutting, stamping, making things and reading, until they can decide on three winners in the following categories: 'Creative Product of the Year', 'Creative Tool of the Year', 'Creative Kit of the Year' and 'Creative Book of the Year'.

The awards ceremony will take place on 27 January 2018 as part of Creativeworld on the Creativeworld Forum stage in Hall 4.2 (Stand F90). In addition, all products submitted will be exhibited in a special exhibition space in Hall 4.2 (Stand B90) for the entire duration of the fair. This will enable visitors to get a compact overview of innovations in the sector. Each product will be labelled with the name of the company and their stand number, so that, if interested, visitors can get in contact with the manufacturer while they are at the fair. In addition, there will be a bi-lingual brochure, put together free of charge and made available to all participating companies during the event.
